## 50Pcs 25V Electrolytic Capacitor Assortment Kit – 6 Values

The six 25V electrolytic values that turn up in almost every low-voltage
project. One box covers you for Arduino builds, synth and pedal circuits, LED
drivers, phone chargers, router and set-top-box power rails, and the small
switching supplies inside half the appliances in your house.

Instead of ordering six separate bags, this kit puts 50 radial caps in one
labelled box – enough for a long run of projects, or for recapping several
small boards.

### What's in the Kit

### Where These Get Used

- **Arduino / Raspberry Pi / ESP32 builds** – supply decoupling on 5V and 3.3V
  rails, motor driver smoothing
- **Guitar pedals and synth modules** – 100–470uF coupling and filter caps on
  9V and 12V supplies
- **Power supply repair** – secondary-side smoothing in chargers, adapters,
LED drivers, routers and set-top boxes
- **Audio HiFi** – low-voltage decoupling and coupling on op-amp rails
- **General DIY** – 1000uF and 2200uF for bulk storage on any 12–24V rail

### Before You Order

- **Voltage must meet or exceed the original part.** Replacing a 16V cap with a
25V unit is fine. Never go the other way.
- **In switch-mode supplies, use low-ESR.** General-purpose caps run hot and
fail early on the output of a switching regulator.
- **Check the body size.** Higher values are physically larger – 2200uF needs
  far more room than 100uF.
- **Mind the polarity.** The striped leg is negative. Reverse connection
damages the cap and can make it vent.
- **Leave headroom.** On a 12V rail a 25V part is comfortable; on a 19–24V
rail it's marginal, and you should move up to a 35V or 50V part.

### FAQ

**Can I use a 25V cap to replace a 16V or 10V one?**
Yes, as long as the body fits. Higher voltage rating at the same capacitance
is a safe substitute.

**Are these sorted in a box?**
Yes, values are separated and labelled

**Why 105°C instead of 85°C?**
A 105°C part lasts much longer at the same operating temperature, which
matters in power supplies that run warm all day.

**How long do they last on the shelf?**
Electrolytics slowly lose their forming over time. If a cap has sat unused for
several years, reform it by raising the voltage gradually through a resistor
before use.
