The big-value end of the 25V range. When a circuit needs real bulk storage –
amplifier power rails, subwoofer plate amps, linear supply smoothing, low
frequency filter caps – 100uF won't do it. This kit puts 20 high-capacitance
radial caps in one box, **four values, five of each, each value individually
wrapped** so the leads don't tangle and the markings stay readable.

### Where These Get Used

### Before You Order

- **These are physically large parts.** A 4700uF/25V can is roughly twice the
  height of a 1000uF. Measure the space on your board and the lead spacing
  before buying.
- **Mind the voltage margin.** 25V suits 12V and 18V rails. On a 24V rail it's
  marginal – step up to a 35V or 50V part.
- **Use low-ESR for switch-mode supplies.** General-purpose caps overheat and
  fail early on the output of a switching regulator.
- **Mind the polarity.** The striped leg is negative. Reverse connection
  damages the cap and can make it vent.
- **Inrush matters.** Several thousand µF across a supply draws a large surge
  at switch-on – size your rectifier and fuse accordingly.

### FAQ

**Why so few values compared with your 50Pcs kit?**
This kit covers the high-capacitance end only. If you need the smaller values
(100–470uF), see the 50Pcs 25V assortment instead.

**Can I parallel two caps to get more capacitance?**
Yes. Two 2200uF in parallel give 4400uF and halve the ESR – a common trick
when a single cap won't fit the height available.

**Can I use a 4700uF where the board had 2200uF?**
Electrically yes, provided the voltage rating is met and the body fits. The
larger value charges slower and pulls more inrush current at switch-on.

**Are they really wrapped separately?**
Yes – each value comes in its own labelled wrap *
